VES Partners LLC is a management services company in Texas focused on early-stage angel investments through two limited partnerships (Seabridge Ventures I & II). Through equity and debt positions in private companies, VES Partners monitors, mentors and facilitates success of ventures within the portfolio, and helps its Boards and CEOs reach the goal of acquisition by strategic buyers at a favorable multiple. We continuously build upon the most promising investment positions and assist with strategic planning exercises as well as with more tactical efforts when required.

The first series of investments were made in 2005-2010, and Seabridge Ventures I LP has pooled 41 co-investors and supported 25 rounds of investment since the beginning of that cycle.  Venture capital firms and syndicates of business angel groups have subsequently taken positions in several of our portfolio companies as they have scaled successfully.  In terms of performance, the fund has outperformed industry metrics for the class by 68%.

Seabridge Ventures II LP began its five year cycle of investment in 2011, with a capacity make multiple rounds of investments in 15-20 startup companies during this period.  Combining the velocity and mentorship provided by locally focused super angels with the professionalism of international venture investors, our goal is to serve the early-stage tech sector with the knowledge, capital and direction required to ultimately realize successful exits.

We closely evaluate and invest in prototype-ready companies in the energy technology, enterprise software, process safety, and factory automation industries.
